Setup item initial stock

Item initial stock form allows you to add the opening quantity of all inventory items when using the software for the first time. This quantity represents your current physical inventory of those items.

Note: If you are importing items from excel sheet then you can also specify the opening quantity in the excel sheet. CraveInvoice will import the quantity along with item details. In that case, you will not need to use this form.

Follow the steps below to add opening quantity for the items.

1. Create item record on item master form if not already done

2. Go to Inventory menu and click on Item Initial Stock menu command. All items will be displayed once you open the form.

3. Specify the Quantity for each item.

4. Select Warehouse name for each item.

5. Click Save button

Filtering the item list

If you have lot of items in the list, you can filter it by using the parameters such as item name, item code and item group.

You can enable "All Groups" check box so items of all groups will be displayed in the list.

Notes:

To add quantity for different warehouse for same item, click on Add Entry (for other warehouse) button and specify the quantity.

To remove the item entry from the list, you can select the row to be removed and click on Remove Entry button and then click on Save buton.

4. Specify the Quantity for the item.

5. Select Warehouse name for the item.
